F1 22 Ego Dumper crash

Issue: F1 22 is crashing after 5-10 minutes of playing. Getting "Ego Dumper" message.

Platform: PC

I played the game since July on my previous pc and i never experienced any issue.

I've installed today F1 22 on my new pc and the game keeps crashing.

Attempted troubleshooting:

- Run the game as administrator

- Lowering in-game graphic settings

- Checking for Windows/Nvidia drivers update

- Disable Steam overlay

- Disable antivirus and firewall

I'm playing with antialising TAA and FidelityFX Sharpening (so no DLSS).

Last report code i get: KRKX-VPJS-CVGH-RVSE

The latest crash didn't even produce an Ego Dumper message, it froze on a black screen and after 30 seconds the pc rebooted by itself.

I attach DxDiag file

Thanks in advance for any suggestions and assistance.

Update:

Capping FPS with V-Sync on at 144fps seems help giving more stability.

I was able to play a couple of longer session, but game keeps crashing randomly.

Sometimes it crashes immediatly at the beginning of a session, today I was just able to finish a 50% race, then the game crashed in the race results' menu.

  • I've been having the same problem for over 2 months now and I've yet to get any acknowledgement from anyone with EA. Game ran fine prior to the 1.08 update but since then it's random EGO Dumper crashes. Sometimes just sitting on the menu, sometimes after finishing a basic 5-lap race or 30 minute practice, regardless of game mode or graphics settings. Hoping you have better luck than I have.
