Not if the companies aren't going to be on the IRL cars, just available to select as sponsors on your Custom liveries.

e.g. INEOS would have to be licensed (clearance) to be on the Mercedes (probably negotiated as a sign off across FOM, might even be in the game licence).

To comply with PEGI3 any adult sponsors (alcohol, tobacco, etc. although these are regulated / banned already IRL) would not be selectable.

But if you wanna put INEOS on a custom livery, it's advertising. However, this might need some policing as you could create a banana coloured car and that might not sit well with INEOS, some kind of bot / approval process might be how it goes.

But, IDK it appears to be moot if the Sponsor Footage is faked. It would be nice instead of the 'Mickey Mouse' sponsor logos we have could be replaced with RL examples.

Think this one is a pretty obvious fake. The sponsors from F1 2019-2021 aren’t going anywhere and also appear in Grid Legends recently as well.

Although I think it’s clear the main graphics for F1 22 will be nigh on identical to F1 2021 during gameplay, the main menu screens for the game I would expect to be different.  This seems to just use the same menu designs as F1 2021 so seems likely to be a photoshop concept.

Not sure if the images were changed or I just got things mixed up from the start, but checking the images in the first post again I see what you mean 🙂. I saw the same images on Reddit but thought I was looking for on track images instead.

(When I first replied to this thread I really thought I'd looked and it just duplicated the images in the other thread.)
