First, Verstappen doesn’t play f1 games. For commercial duties he may play but of course casually. Second. You’ve already said it. Turn tc on and you’ll be fine. Why so bother not using the assists? Your inability to drive without assists shouldn’t mean the game is not realistic. It’s the most realistic f1 game so far. Not a real sim, but it is close. Don’t try to ruin it. I hope you and your fellows get your money back and you leave us alone.
@SertacKaratepe_ You shouldnt start elitist discussions when traction got worse than last year when Norris - a F1 driver - said that real traction is more like what it was with TC on.. People asking for realistic traction, you ask for artificially difficult traction.. We all should wait till the final handling model is in the game as there are still things changing with future patches
I’m not against realistic traction. I would favor it. Do you know what “it is not the final handling model” is? It means considering these demands, developers will trim the realistic aspects of the game into an arcade which can be played around by anyone. I don’t want everyone to be able to play without assists. “Elite” driving proficiency should be like its name practically. People who can’t play harder than 80 AI should not complain about the traction, handling, braking etc. they should just turn the assists on and then it’s all fine.
- @SertacKaratepe_ You know people complained even more than this about the kerbs of 2021 and guess what, it didnt change much at all.. Just relax a bit, the one in charge of the handling model doesnt aim for a super arcady "just stomp the throttle" game.. Its questionable if things will even change at all after the already planned changes because it would most likely take AI retraining.. Just relax and dont immediately expect the worst, Codemasters dont listen too closely anyway, looking at all the past suggestions that were "with the devs" and still not in the game :P
You’ve got point. Anyway. I was relaxed and enjoying the game before seeing this thread. It seems people who can’t drive are more furious than me.
- @SertacKaratepe_ And ? I have a job, a wife, a real life outside a F1 game. I'm not a kid anymore, who had half a day to play. I usually play 2-3 hours a day. So, my point here is, the TC on medium is almost like TC off in the past games. They should add one more TC mode, close to the one we had in F1 21. I don't want to play with TC on, I really enjoy the challenge of control the car. But in the current state, it's almost impossible.
- @FernandoHVB See? That’s all I wanted to point out. Feel free to use assists mate. It’s not a shame. Considering you have less time to play, this way it will be more enjoyable than struggling with the car. Current status is fine without assists. It’s realistic believe me. Think about it. In real life, the car can’t be so easy to handle with a game controller or stone like foot for the throttle pedal.
