Can you link to one such example? The last time I've actually seen something like that, i.e. a driver saying how the game felt more realistic with a certain assist on, was back in 2020 and commenting on F1 2019 as that year's title hadn't been released yet.
About drivers commenting on games physics, they are usually on streams where they are asked about this similarity, so I recommend following some and finding their channels.
But more specifically about the F1 by CM, I have already been on the track with Tony Kanaan and Bia Figueiredo in F1 2021, during a championship held by Heineken, they only played with aids (detail that TK is a monster in iRacing and has the best of equipment), I've also participated in the Fittipaldi brothers' championship (Enzo and Pietro) and they only run with aids too, remembering that Enzo is a F2 Driver and Pietro a F1 Reserve Driver.
And for us mere mortals, just check the driving that you have to apply and compare it with real life videos, you don't have to be an Pro/F1 driver to understand about pedal inputs and know when it's more sensitive than it should.
When there are simulators (where several professional drivers are, such as Alonso, Barrichello, Verstappen, Norris, Drugovich, Kanaan, Felix da Costa, etc) and there it is EASIER to accelerate an F1 than here, it is a sign that something does not sound right.

I don't follow much streaming, probably only Aris Drives when it coincides with me having some free time in my hands, but the outlying remarks and highlights tend to end up in my radar anyway.
I prefer direct, specific feedback over this general observations because of how easy it is to take what we see and extrapolate on the conclusions and assumptions. The smoke is plain for everybody to see, what would be noteworthy is someone with experience pointing out the fire itself, in my opinion.

- 3 years ago@mariohomoh if you follow Aris Drives, then read between the lines of what he's saying... 😉. Essentially the same as @Jato_Italiano. He (they, at Kunos) have the knowledge to build f1-cars and other formula cars, and know the ins & outs of a physics engine.
For the better fact, try ACC without TC and how it is implemented. Or try any formula car in AC and see how it is implemented with and without TC. It is more accurate, more challenging to learn at times, but also a lot more predicatable - whereas now, I don't know where to predict.
Same for FFB, it is in a bad state when I'm not feeling what the rear tyres are doing or complaining about- mariohomoh3 years agoHero (Retired)

GT3 cars weigh around 1.300kg, have around 600BHP and are heavily capped by BOP. F1 cars weigh around 800kg and are around 1000BHP.
Yes, it is easier to drive without TC on ACC and their electronics are wonderfully implemented, following closely to the real deal. That's not the case with F1 cars though.
I'm not actually disagreeing, I'm just not seeing the connection to what Jato and I were talking about - real drivers giving direct feedback or their impressions on how Codies' F1 recent titles perform regarding grip and traction.Edit: regarding the other topics:
- Yeah, I don't think Codemasters' F1 games are much praised over their FFB on a wheel.
- The current handling is not in its final form. Staff has already stated that the proper handling will come out sometime in August via an update.
Hate the fact that the game was released before having such an essential aspect of the gameplay finalized, but knowing that the definitive handling is long in the works and will directly address at least part of the complaints lodged here, I don't feel like bashing on what is basically their temporary solution.
I'm still enjoying the game and clearly do not face the same grievances as other players here, but I'd still have appreciated the game being delayed until these changes were ready to ship.
