F1 22 PC – Sonic Studio may be causing compatibility issues with Windows 10/11

Hey all,

Thanks to some incredible investigative work from both community and the dev team, it’s been identified that Sonic Studio III (which is bundled with some ASUS products) may result in compatibility issues in certain apps on Windows 10 (specifically with version 1803 and newer) and Windows 11. It’s been reported that this can cause crashing, or a loss of audio whilst playing F1 22.

You can remove Sonic Studio III from your PC completely by following these steps:

  • On your desktop, select the Windows button
  • Go to Windows Settings
  • Select Apps
  • Find and uninstall Sonic Studio III
  • Restart Windows

In some cases you may have to remove the entire ASUS Sonic Suite, but don’t remove your ASUS/Realtek drivers
