@Buck3131 hi, i watched your video but it didn't help, the issue here is not low performance, low framerate, but a jittering, stuttering, when rotating the head. So I have 78, 80 frames per second sustained and everything's fine if I look straight, but if move my head at all the jitter /stutter is so strong that it makes you sick (and I have thousands of hours on combat flight simulation in VR). This is a bug, it's unacceptable, and it's got nothing to do with hardware or performance limitations. (HP Reverb G2, 2080 Ti, 64 GB RAM, 9th gen i5, m2 ssd)
if and when they fix this bug, your video will be great to tweak VR performance but the issue at hand is different. cheers

78/80 FPS on a G2 (if used at 90hz) are NOT enough for F1 22. It is for other games but in F1 22 if you have less FPS than the headset screen hz then the game will stutter when you turn your head around. Either decrease the settings and/or lower the resolution until you reach a stable 90 fps or use the G2 in 60 hz mode. It is something Codemasters surely can fix but for now you need to have equal or more FPS than your headset screen refresh rate for the game to not stutter.
Is there anyway to disable the head tracking via the config file or other means? The VR works good otherwise but the tracking is a hot mess. Even on the lowest quality setting in game and headset it’s bad.
I think we're all in agreement that it 'makes it better' but I don't think anybody in this particular thread has concluded that hitting the frame rate makes it butter smooth and resolves the problem? I may be wrong?
My concern is that we're trying to help here by showing that reducing the demands on the PC does 'help' but there is still an issue. Do you get stuttering when not hitting your FPS? Does the stuttering completely disappear once you start hitting your 78/80 FPS, as in butter smooth like all other VR games?
Still only getting 34 FPS and still can't move my head around with out jitter.
Update may have addressed a few issues in flat and curved screens, but VR is still not acceptable.
