This is a bloody brilliant thread! Stuff like these make these forums so enjoyable to follow!
However @D34THNO1E I have one question. On the section "Grip dependent on the wetness of track", I see that wets and inters have the best grip when it's dry? That can't be right? Also does the grip of wets and inters really go down from 0% wetness to 3% wetness? For me it just seems weird... But maybe it is the case?
- 3 years ago@Mikulitsi The numbers are straight from the game files(tyrecompound.erp file), I was discovering this stuff as I was copy-pasting values into the spreadsheet and that was probably the most interesting
To open the file yourself you need the latest version of software from this sketchy looking link, don't have to trust a stranger on the internet but that is where I got it from: https://p2t5r.itch.io/ego-erp-archiver
Of course only possible on PC
As for why it is this way, it surprised me at first but actually makes a lot of sense. Both of these tyres DO in fact grip the track much better when it's dry than wet - and that's what WetnessGrip variable represents, it's just that in the dry they quickly overheat and have less grip to begin with- Mikulitsi3 years agoNew Adventurer

Anyways I've never paid attention that inters have that "high" of a dry track grip although of course those tyres' problem is the overheating in the dry.
Also as I said before this thread is fantastic. Thank you for compiling everything here!

@MikulitsiIt’s kind of weird but they do. I think the key is to compare them to dry compounds. (Edit: @D34THNO1E already covered that)
