Same issue. VR version is unplayable on Oculus2 using SteamVR and oculus link cable or virtual desktop. On the laptop screen looks fine only VR is affected. Also 2d screens on VR are fine. Issue only present when in a car.

i had this issue too, how i fixed it: set the resolution in the Oculus Application and in Steam VR Settings to the same value. (For me, it is 4128x2096 in Oculus and 2064x 2096 in Steam VR

Hi which Oculus are you using.

Exactly for me as well. It's funny because in the benchmark it actually doesn't happen for me.

I struggled with Unplayable VR lag for about half an hour last night before I think I got it figured out. I ended up needing to boot the game through the PC, rather than through the Quest 2. I still need to confirm whether I can just boot Steam VR through the PC and then load the game in the Quest view, or if I need to launch everything by only clicking the game on the PC and selecting the VR version. Either way, one of those two procedures fixed it for me. Really stupid, and I hope they get it actually fixed so this sort of thing isn’t necessary.
