The fact that the pause menu while in a race doesn't have this issue while the game in the background does really shows that this isn't an issue with performance. There is clearly something wrong with the head tracking system in-game causing a massive delay. This was a similar issue that was happening to iRacing which they recently fixed when they switched their whole VR backend to OpenXR instead of OpenVR.
Yes, it's like if you're wearing a very thick reading glasses. When I move my head to left, the car body slightly moves to right relative to my movement.

@taz1004860this is correct. they have done nothing to address this in months. i now mainly drive iracing but i wanted to try this game with my new RTX 4090, but it's just as bad and this head tracking lag is still present.
- 3 years ago@Stampede_251 VR works for me, you have something mis-configured, which to be honest is a bit surprising if you have a 4090, most with people with a 4090 not only dont mis-configure but know how to optimize.

@57c8f68321dc240f You must be a plant for EA. I'm sure @Stampede_251 has tried every config known to man, as I have. The VR implementation of this game is fundamentally broken. Period.
