F1 22 vs 21 vs 20?

Concerning handling and races I would go for F1 2020, then F1 22. F1 22 only works with full tc for me and my pad, which costs pace, especially at Start. F1 2021 is very nervous for me, but still makes fun.

Concerning tracklist F1 22 on PC can be patched to use portimao and Shanghai in myteam too, Else for console F1 2021 better, due you can use portimao and Shanghai for myteam and sochi is better than Miami imo. F1 2020 has three short Versions, but Imola and portimao are of course better.

Ah and yes, F1 2020 has classic cars, which is great. f1 2021 the one time fun Mode braking point, which is 50/50 for me, F1 22 has super cars and F1 Life.... @

I am a casual player ( like since early nineties) with GP4 and many others. Started buying this series from Codemasters from the beginning until now, But things have changed on this game.

I understand the ground effect cars and how they work but this game as much as I have tried over the months since I bought it I cannot get a consistent exit out of corners without spinning.

I love these games but i am finding this one almost impossible.

I have watched TRL Limitless videos to try to learn this game, but cannot work out what to do at this point

Most players are not at F1ESports or TRL Limitless standard.

I think I am going to shelve this game and look somewhere else for my F1 fix

Yes. Partly as we're not talking about a new game but one developed over many years by Codemasters, and partly because we're going to be talking about different people involved at EA given how long ago you're talking.

I have just had a little nostalgia trip through 20 and 21. I forgot how great 20 was, even in the wet I was hammering round the track with absolute confidence. Then I put on 21. Now it would be fair to point out at this point that I play in cockpit cam view. I applied some little bits I’d gained from 22, like camera angle adjustments for example and then I started a game. Man I didn’t realise that either A. This game was a hell of a lot more fun than I remember or B. 22 is so broken that it’s simply not enjoyable. My answer is B by the way. If you also look at 20v21v22 there are less my team custom options available. Funny that isn’t it? You can practically see greedy EA dna bleeding in before your eyes. The point is if you have all the games then go back and see for yourself the difference, I was very surprised and now as such im now playing 21 again and having fun(don’t get me wrong it’s by no means perfect but non of them are), something I’ve had very little of on 22 with aggressive AI and the AI speed etc. Not to mention losing a race because the car would pit properly, just slammed into the pit wall all the way trying to drive back onto the track🤷‍♂️. So I would say 20 best then 21 then (actually haven’t played 18 or 19 for ages they might be better than 22?) 22 is good for the tracks. 

No coincidence my friend, EA own them now and if you’re a gamer with any sense you’ll know that any game franchise or developer that EA touch turns to *. Yes this IS a personal opinion sure, BUT history shows EA are … 20 was a good little game, 21 was a dip, 22 a car crash. (I await to have a fantasic 23 stuffed in my face because it’s sooo fantastic🤞🤞🤞🤞here’s hoping)

@the_cyborganizerthis alternation of highs and lows was already a constant (heh) back when it was solely developed and published by Codemasters. And you can see the seeds of many of the questionable decisions regarding game modes and microtransactions way before Codemasters went under the EA's mantle.

Naturally this is not to say the game has improved or made better in any way under EA. Unfortunately even the community has also suffered big time with the transition. I'm just disinclined to deflect the blame from Codemasters' own staff regarding franchise direction and management.
