If i have to guess, i think it will be released earlier this year. If i am not wrong, in the last years the game was first announced/teased around end of may or start of april, now it was announced/teased at the end of february. As long as they provide a good game without lots of bugs and cars performance 90% reflecting real life, it's even better for me, at least it's released closer to the start of the real season. Performance adjustments can be done in next patches.

F1 2016: 19 Aug (release announced on 16 June)
F1 2017: 25 Aug (release announced on 17 May)
F1 2018: 24 Aug (release announced on 15 May)
F1 2019: 28 Jun (release announced on 28 Mar)
F1 2020: 10 Jul (release announced on 15 Apr)
F1 2021: 16 Jul (release announced on 15 Apr)
F122: 1 Jul (release announced on 21 Apr)
so in the last few years the game's been released in June or July, with the release date announced in March or April. Expecting the same for this year
