So I want to know when we think we will get the game released this year? My thinking and i know its early days but I believe we could get it on 7th July for a standard release with 4th/5th July as early release
My reasoning for this is those dates coincide with the British GP which they have used for the last couple of years at least.
If that was the case, how would people feel?

As Mario pointed out its the exact same for 3 years now and actually in the least pleasant way of all.. I rather find myself playing F1 2021 or F1 2018 with more realistic dirty air (fully realistic is sadly not possible/working with the AI😩) and little more accurate car performances.. They just have a more pleasant and rewarding handling model while still having almost the same features😅
But that's exactly the point of the discussion I proposed above: if they assured us that these issues could be made right given them a 2 years-time, would us be willing to wait?
(because releasing it yearly isn't working wonders...)
TBH New game can’t get here soon enough. I rather spend time posting on here than play the current game. As you all know I’m a happy chatter. I’ve got to know many of the EA guys. They are actually all very good guys and passionate about gaming. There is a genuine desire and effort to improve how they deal with bugs and issues going forward.
Suggestion threads are only good for us to bounce ideas off eachother and maybe an occasional dev will read through them for some inspiration and maybe pick one or to for ideas for future titles. On Codies forums you could see who was currently on the forums and which threads they were looking at. Multiple times I saw devs looking at suggestion threads. But not once did they ever post on them… no matter how hard you try and get their attention. As it’s not something that needs immediate attention.
like I’ve said in other threads. Communication when it comes to issues and bugs needs to be better so they are fixed faster and not going on for months as some major issues still are.. I believe this will get better in next years game
Whether the gameplay sucks or not 🤷🏻♂️

I’d be keen for them to sacrifice a game this year (or next year or whenever) to long-term, have a fully-functioning, extremely popular and enjoyable game. It’s something that I think I brought up before, but a lot of people (and fair enough) don’t really like the idea, because they want to have the new game ASAP.

Well, that’s why I made the F1 Game Community Suggestions Hub. For that exact purpose. It’s going well so far too btw!
It would be so good to see which EA/CM person was online on the forum, and which forum thread they were looking at. Even if they don’t reply (which don’t get me wrong, would still be amazing), it’s still great to see what they’re looking at. Is this something you could discuss with your EA overlords/whatever they’re called?
@Radoko34Wouldn’t be something I would. It’s not my place. It would add little use for a lot work. I only ever noticed cause I’m ever present. I very much doubt anyone else found it useful. If it was they would have already added it.

Or, even if they just had a little sticker/badge go next to a thread that symbolises if the thread has been viewed (at any time) by an EA staff.
Anyways, just a side thought I guess.
I don't think they need to sacrifice a year and i don't believe that's the solution. What they should do, is to hire more devs helping the current teams (if i understand correctly, they have 2 teams working on F1) resolving the current bugs and then focus on new features, handling, etc. All they have to do is to hire more devs and lose some money (their salary), which on long terms, i think it will bring them more money because a better and complet game + features the community ask for can only lead to higher sales.
