The rumors say the 23 is a slight change and the 24 is a big change coming. Also, I’m saddened to hear that Mr. Greco is leaving the handling development.

- @Ultrasonic_77 heard that rumor on the same breath as "EA is going to migrate F1 to their Frostbite engine".
Imagine having the Ego engine, the MADNESS engine, all that knowledge base that came with the Codemasters acquisition, and shift it all to Frostbite.
I'm no game developer, and I'm aware arcade racing titles from EA are made on Frostbite. But that's one rumour I won't bite until it puts on some more meat on that bone.

If true, that is a shame. It was a thankless task with many prior having their own ideas as to what the hacking should feel like. Trying to please everyone while attempting to create a model that was easy enough for casuals, also realistic enough for hardcores and in a game which is fundamentally a simcade, must have caused a lot of stress and compromise. He seemed to have plenty of ideas to make it far better than it is but always alluded to not having enough time to implement these ideas.
