F1 car doesn’t go forward?

Product: F1 22
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug When I begin my qualifying/race, my car wont go forward. I started to with automatic gearbox assist on and I was put in reverse even when I tried to go forward, and my car doesn’t go forwards or backwards when I’m on manual, no matter what gear I change to.
What is your 16 digit Report Code? DMXG-XAGD-TRMH-RGTE
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Driver Career
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Did you have cross-play enabled? Yes
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure
What happens when the bug occurs? I can’t play the game
What do you expect to see? The car going forward so I can play the game

  • @pka1eohaaxwy From your video it's clear that while you've got the accelerator on maximum you also have the brake on maximum, which is why you aren't going anywhere. I'd start by checking the performance of whatever you're using to control your car...

A key binding issue or a faulty controller. Most likely the former.

You could restore the default controller settings profile just to test if it is indeed a key binding issue.

To test the device, on the controller settings you can enter that button test interface. Fiddle around with your controller and see what causes the brake button to register an input.

As Ultra pointed out, you're fully engaging the brakes at the same time you press the throttle. Looks like both functions are set to the same button.

Perhaps, because you have braking assist, steering assist, traction control and gearbox all on full/high, they are countering each other, causing the car to not launch. This could also be F2 cars-specific.

    This makes no sense.

Most things  Roddy posts are wrong 😑

  • @pka1eohaaxwyHave you got assisted starts on or manual? It could well be because you’re not dropping the clutch. Probably a key binding issue as @mariohomoh  said.  Change setting to assisted start.

Also make sure your clutch button is the same as your upshift button
