F2 popularity online should be a wake-up Call for EA/Codies

The online or league racing community is currently in a very odd place. Normally everything is about competitive F1 racing and practice for next league or just lobbies with friends.

Nowadays the entire focus of the community has shifted massively and F1 is kinda outside the picture at the moment. Why?
F2 has gained huge momentun and is currently more popular in online lobbies than F1. Strange phenomenom if you think about it. Why can that be?

In my opinion the answer to this is very telling and should be a massive wake up call to Codemasters amd EA. The F1 22 cars of this game and the handling/traction model are so bad and frustrating, most league racers are quitting because unlike offline, you cannot just use a flashback.

The game has gotten to a point in which every single patch brings new horrible issues to the multiplayer and makes overall gameplay worse and worse. The exodus of the F1 multiplayer has already begun and it will only get worse.

The F2 cars on the other hand provide much better traction, no random spins and require a realistic use of gears and not the ridicolous shortshifting that is necessary in the F1 cars. Racing is much closer, slipstream exists unlike F1, and the overall feel for the car, such as force feedback, works a lot besser. Meanwhile in F1 the force feedback changes with every patch that gets released, even tho Codemasters keeps denying it.

F2 has provided us currently with levels of racing and feeling, we havent had since F1 2020 or even F1 2017. The latter is a better comparison as there was no ERS managament back then. You attack and attack and atack. Just like f2. you dont chill behind the car ahead to safe ERS.
F2 is just like F1 racing should be in these games. Codemasters has offered a game that has such a bad gameplay and feeling in F1, that even the F2 cars feel much more connected. This shouldnt happen whatsoever.
F2 might safe the online world of F1, as that is pretty much the only thing that can be fun in this game at the moment.
