Flashback black screen

Xbox Series X


Not sure if this has been reported but occasionally when I press the flashback button I just get a black screen. It never solves itself or loads and I have to force quit the game meaning if I’ve not saved I lose all progress in that race. It seems to be maybe one in five flashbacks it’ll happen meaning I’m currently having to mid session save every lap to ensure I don’t lose out or have to start the race again. 

I’m having to use flashback more often as I push harder to keep up with the rocket engine AI

    This has been happening for a long time, sometimes the screen is completely dark but the race continues to happen without knowing if we are on the options screen or running
