For last ten hours I’ve been playing grid legends.

And it’s been a nice change to enjoy playing a racing game.

But  I’ve posted before that if they can’t  make the F1 game to work better in majority off peoples primary control option.  Then they need to add different levels off tc etc. instead off just med and full.   Esp as both options don’t work properly..

So you can imagine my surprise when I saw Grid had 5 tc setting along with 5 abs settings and considering most off us have been struggling with snap oversteer,  maybe the grid team could help as they also let players have the option to pick 5 stability settings.  I mean grid and F1 games use the same fake sponsor decals and such.

  • @ScarDuck14Agree with this, although I'm yet to try grid. I do play gt7 and acc and it's a relief to be able to control the car consistently for more than 4 laps.

in f1 They do not need to alter the physics, no!  just add more of a layer of trc for the pad players. .if they need it. Some are enjoying it but a lot aren't.

I want to like f122 but when I'm just not enjoying the game, it's easy not to like it.

@Dan78lokiOh Grid is nothing like GT7 or AC… it’s a blatant throwback to what racing games used to be… Fun: Xp based progression that encourages you to drive like a hooligan. Bigger longer the power slide more xp you get.. it’s a racing game that is unapologetic simplistic funny fun fun. Great entry point for kids to start off with: Brought back memories off TOCA and Shiff. The Elitist heads would explode if they ever played this. They would hate it and themselves cause they had to much fun. And these days racing games must be immersion and the grind and bland and boring

After a few hours off GT7 and completing a few menus. I deleted it. Be benign the wheel off the worst and slowest car ever made and then being stuck in a traffic jam is more exciting.

From First race in grid and every race following no matter what your driving had my giggling like a toddler. Quickly Gone was obsessively focusing staying on race line and hitting my marks.

All hardcore sim racers should play games like grid.. will help those who rage he has a steering wheel doesnt perfectly  reflect real F1 keep some perspective

Further more the exaggerated game physics in grid and the fact the game encourages you to drive like a loon.  Teaches you more about car physics and handling and Increase your skills

Every real race driver learned and developed their skills from karting…. Karts are awesome fun to drive as they like Grid have exaggerated sense off speed and handling

Entering every corner. Instead off be sure car was settled. I was instead doing a scandi flick to help get huge power slides going. Ai in your way. Ram them out the way. Last time I enjoyed a racing game this much was shift 2.

Don't you hate it when a noob posts in the wrong section of a forum. 😛

Glad you're enjoying Grid Legends but honestly your description of it mostly highlighted reasons I wouldn't want to play it!

I think it's important that the F1 game's assist system makes the game accessible to beginners but personally I'd like the no-assists version of the game to be as much of a 'true sim' as possible so that this option is there for those who do want it. If there's an issue with the current range/effectiveness of TC options for controller players then this is obviously something that should be addressed though.
