Force feedback significantly weaker than is use to be.

Product: F1 22
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug After the most recent update, force feedback is significantly weaker than before, it won't even move the wheel; it just whines. I have a G923, which was working correctly just 2 weeks ago. Note: my G923 still works properly in other games.
What is your 16 digit Report Code? XAVG-VJBS-XKXJ-CTME
Which area is the bug/glitch in? TT
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Did you have cross-play enabled? Yes
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use a racing wheel with force feedback before and after the update to feel the difference, it is very noticeable at high speeds.
What happens when the bug occurs? Forcefeed back especially when trying to turn is nonexistent and most noticeable at higher speeds.
What do you expect to see? Stronger force feedback like it was 2 weeks ago.

Can't show like it was before the update.

    Hey all,

If you're finding that you don't have FFB on your Logitech wheels, we suggest re-installing  G-Hub - if that doesn't work, please let us know

Here are the steps you'll need:

    1. Disconnect your wheel
    2. Uninstall Ghub
    3. Restart your PC
    4. Install Ghub
    5. Connect wheel
    6. Start F1 22

If those steps don't work, after uninstalling GHub, go to C:\Program Files\ and delete LGHUB folder

  • hi,

I also encountered this problem, I have a G29, I play on PC and for 2 weeks the return of force is less significant than before! The sensations are not there so the game is unplayable! The steering wheel drivers have been reinstalled, nothing and the parameters in play have been changed but nothing happens!

Can you fix this bug please!

What happens when the bug occurs? No force feedback and no rev indicator lights appear on wheel
What do you expect to see? I expect force feedback on turns and rev indicator lights to light up when using my wheel.

When I first downloaded the game and connected my Logitech G923 wheel, everything (force feedback and rev indicator lights) was working fine. Today I launched the game and was receiving no force feedback and no rev indicator lights. I have uninstalled and re installed drivers, GHUB, and F1 22 with no luck.

Did everything again (as I have been doing for the last 2 weeks) and, no ffb.

I suggest using Geek Uninstaller to completely remove GHub (it will remove your GHub folder).

Driver Cleaner may be helpful (the utility is from Logitech but could be hard to find on their site) - recommend this as an optional Step 3a

    USBDeView another optional Step 3a

Step 4a Confirm GHub recognises your wheel fully and the mappings are correct.

Sometimes a Step 5a Restart your PC, can be useful.

  • @jenny_a_m How can I do this on PS5, because the FFB is VERY weak on PS5 now.

I used to be barely able to steer on 150 FFB, but now it is very loose.

Even on pc with thrustmaster wheel the ffb is sometimes very weak. I hope it will be fixed at some point.
