So it seems at least in the content creator build that we are still not free to use tires we want to use in free practice which is ruining quite a bit of strategy just like we saw today that teams opt to go for 2 sets of hards - thats impossible with the games restrictions..It shouldnt be too complicated to do one of these two options:A) just lift the restrictions and every player is free to use tires however they wantB) do A) but with suggested tires to use for practice - just a different column, the current practice allocation, but we can still choose the other onesI know its not a simple click but also no extreme amount of work and should never have been like this in the first place.@BarryBLplease get this to the devs its very annoying and another reason thats leaving a bad taste when we think about buying the game but know that we have more realistic tyre behaviour but cant use 2 sets of hards in a race..

@Meza994 I agree, about tyres F1 rules are not 100% in the game and yes a bit annoying, also in P1-P2-P3 the player is forced to run a certain kind of tyre (at least in F1 2021 but I get F1 22 is not going to be different), while one may need to run a different kind for any reason, weather in the following sessions or whatever, free to use would be great.Besides I would add that both in the strategy before race and in the MFD during the race, it would be nice to know exactly the conditions of each available tyre, % of usage etc., something I already tried to show here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/suggestion-tyres-choice-for-the-race/m-p/11458906Regards,Nuv

So basically, we can only use one set of mediums in a race? This is ridiculous.This should be changed asap, as it really ruins a lot of races by limiting players to only softs, hards once they started on mediums. A few races this season have had a medium-hard-medium strategy suggested by Pirelli, but yet somehow we can't?

@Nuvolarix True wood be nice to have but probably a bit more difficult than the first step to lift the limitations, but there are definitely a lot of improvement! :D

I like this idea.Also, I haven't seen if it's a thing yet, but given that the 'Start race on Q tyre rule' is no longer a thing... we no longer need 3 S and 1 M in Quali of a 50% league race.Perhaps some kind of strat screen BEFORE Q starts where we can pick our tyres could work? I dunno, but tyre strategy has been freed up irl, so give us that option in-game.

@BankaiBullettIt was always a free choice IRL.. You would have the exact same tires as in 2021 (except for sprint weekends but thats a different thing anyway) and you would be able to use the tires exactly as you were in 2021 so could have only softs left for race and qualifying, or half soft, half medium, just more freedom (in contrast to F1 2021), not forced to anything, will open up strategies for leagues a lot.

Yea, we could use tyre alocation screen to redestribute componuds between quali/race and practise. Otherwise this screen is pointless in game, without choise option.
Sometimes it would be great to have another set of mediums or hards in race, especialy in 100% races, just in case of SC.

Even something like below would be better than the current state:
Tyre alacation agressive - same as now
Tyre alacation normal - one set of mediums for quali instead of softs
Tyre alacatuon safe - one set of hards for quali instead of softs

@C4rdi4S All way too complicated for how much they have to fix, it literally is the easiest to lift the lock on tires and only return the most worn tyres - ideally the tires we choose though

But i was like that in f1 2020 i believe.
Only change im mechanics would be that set are swaped between quali/race and practice rather than from total alacation.
I think lifting lock would be harder to new players to know what they need in race and would need to be coded too not to use all available set in practice.

@C4rdi4S Theres literally nothing further to code than lifting the lock.. If you wanted to use all tires in one practice session IRL you can and you should be able in the game too. Changing the allocation in 2020 was not shifting tires from practice to quali or race but giving different tires in the first place. It would be more complicated and still not follow the real life rules

@C4rdi4S But thats against the rules. The tyre allocation is set within the rules but the teams are free to use the tires whenever they want except for one medium and one soft i believe.. The rest is up to them.. Going back to 2020 model would be unrealistic
