Also, I think the main reason to why it doesn't affect performance this much is because of the ground effect. The underbody gives way more downforce compared to the last few years, and I think they did a great job.
By the way, front wing damage does affect your performance, but like I said, not as much as the previous years, and I like it the way it is. This makes Monaco a lot more bearable compared to last year, because you can scratch your wing and still drive normally, which was not the case in F1 2021.
Would you expect a real F1 driver to keep racing as if nothing had happened if he lost his front wing?
We have seen in F1 this year drivers racing with no end plate on the front wing. I’m happy with the design this year compared to last. Where if you had no end plate you couldn’t turn the car.

I just did a race where I got damage to other side of my front wing (yellow, so light), didn't feel any difference to handling. Later in the race, I got the other side damaged as well and still didn't feel any clear difference. On second last lap, tried to pass Hamilton and got my hole front wing shattered... again no difference, at least to worse, I did however feel faster out of corners to straights (checked replay and definitely didn't get any slower).
Yeah, this year more minor front wing damage doesn't seem to matter that much in real life, but I'm pretty sure more major damage does, like losing your whole wing.- 3 years ago
No it doesn't...deep dark red frontwing damage, but was able to finish the Miami and Austria track without problems and/or losing laptime. It's not realistic at all...

On 1.07 or an earlier version? The patch notes said this had been addressed...

There's a HUGE difference between a bit if end plate damage and having no front wing at all.
