Front wing damage does almost nothing to affect performance

Product: F1 22
Platform:Steam-PC
Summarize your bug The effect of front wing damage is too small. I do not know if this is by design or not, but even if it is, I'm pretty sure it should be increased. There is no way we should be able to drive through Ascari at Monza at almost normal speed with a completely broken front wing. We also saw in Silverstone (with Perez) that less wing damage also affects speed. I selected Multiplayer for the area, but it happens in every mode you can get damage in.
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Multiplayer
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Break the front wing completely and do a lap at Monza.
What happens when the bug occurs? A complete loss of the front wing does not affect you nearly as much as it should (in fact, it almost does nothing)
What do you expect to see? More realistic consequences of damage, otherwise people can crash into you in multiplayer, and not pay a price for damage

Again, don't know if it is by design, but still feel it's too little.

Curious to see what @RollsJoyce1102's reply is as to which version of the game they're referring to, but for me a couple of observations from last night:

In a practice session for Azerbaijan, I locked up into turn #3 and clipped the barrier as I went into the run off, breaking off the entire front wing (damage display panel went fully red). At this point the car was highly undrivable, requiring me to brake a lot earlier than normal in order to nurse the car back to the pits. Without any lap times to compare to, it's really hard to say for sure (especially in practice where there isn't as much grip), but this felt like it lined up a lot more with F1 2021 than it did previously.

Later, in the race session, now in intermediate conditions, I had been matching the pace of the AI cars around me for multiple laps. Then I clipped a wall and the right-hand side of the front wing turned yellow/orange (the more problematic side with this being an anti-clockwise circuit). I immediately started losing 1.0-2.0 seconds per lap to the cars around me (depending how well I managed to get the car turned in during those tricky conditions), which felt appropriate in the circumstances. The weather was predicted to switch to dry running in the next 5-10 minutes, and if it weren't for that, I would have certainly been pushed into a two-stop to get the damage repaired ASAP. By the time a safety car occurred 5-ish laps later, I was over 10 seconds behind. To me this all felt correctly balanced.

So for me, it's looking good right now, but I'd really want to see how things play out for a while before committing to that opinion.

Before the patch. Installed 1.07 just today, had to make room first 😅 see what happens now
