G29 Pedal issues
After shambles with steam I bought the game on EA but my clutch pedal (which I use as my brake) doesn’t register input even if I up saturation to 100. This is the same issue I had in F1 2019 but work...
I have the same issue with G29 wheel but Thrustmaster T-LCM Pedals. G29 is detected fine but the pedals are not being detected. Please help as soon as possible.
I have the T-LCM pedals as well and they are not detected. Also someone on reddit said their T-LCM pedals were not detected either.
These pedals worked fine on the previous game (f1 21) but this game it doesn't get detected. I wonder why there are so many issues. Especially paying extra for early access, first the game is released more than 8 hours late, now issues with hardware connectivity. Quite frustrating.
We really need someone to come in and let us know if CM is looking at this. Its literally undriveable.
HELLO EVERYONE,
I JUST GOT OFF THE SUPPORT FROM THRUSTMASTER.
They have fixed the issue of the T-LCM pedals not showing up in the game for me. Here is how it worked!
Go to https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/product/t300rs-en/ And install the drivers for this wheel! After that, restart your PC and then connect back the pedals. Use the calibration tool to tweak it as per your liking and then launch F1 22. It should now show up in the game!!
HUGE SHOUTOUT TO CARLOS FROM THE THRUSTMASTER SUPPORT TEAM FOR THIS FIX.
My condolences if this fix does not work for you because then idk what will.
LIGHTS OUT AND AWAY WE GO!
I have the same set up as you g29 wheel with thrustmaster tlcm pedals and also have the same issue. Tried updating the tlcm pedal firmware and didn’t work. Works fine in f1 21 and 20 since I was playing them while downloading 22. Codies fix your crap.
A lot of these issues may be fixed by updating your wheelbase firmware.
It worked in F1 xxxx isn't a response. Thrustmaster firmware updates particularly address pedals via RJ12.
Latest driver is 2021_TTRS_4 and the firmware is contained under separate utility 'Thrustmaster FW Updater'. I have access to older firmwares should you wish to downgrade (tag me).
Fanatec pedals should only connect by one of EITHER RJ12 OR USB. Fanatec latest driver has all firmwares for wheelbase, motor, rim and pedals (shifter, handbrakes, etc.)
Pedals are only updatable via USB, regardless of how you use them. e.g. disconnect RJ12, connect USB, update and disconnect USB, connect RJ12. Or just use standalone on USB.
On PC, drivers must be used G923 uses GHub, G29/G920 use LGS (or GHub), G25/G27 use legacy LGS. GHub can update firmware on G920/G923 for console.
Finally, when you have separate pedals (USB) to your wheelbase, yes you must customise the wheelbase control schema with the pedals if the pedals come up (error) as no control scheme defined.
There are extensive notes over at the CM forums, but some of the links to drivers and firmware are not up to date - use the links here.
Some of the older issues on PC are also addressed (DOR issues and loss of FFB on Logitech, conflicts with Logitech / PCARS2, etc.)
EA have been poor with controller support communication this year but I'd expect most wheels to be in the same state as with F1 2021.
Fanatec CSL DD and others have issues (compatibility modes seem to be the general way forward).
all of what you have typed is irrelevant as we all have issues with pedals which thrustmaster has never released a new firmware for.
