Game not launching in VR mode

Summarize your bug Game will not launch in VR mode from EA Play. Only works "sometimes" when deleting all .ini files. The game instead ignore launching steam VR and starts in non-VR mode. Tested on Quest 2 via Virtual Desktop Wireless.

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Did you have cross-play enabled? No
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start the game from EA Play with a Quest 2 HMD system. Change some settings like graphics etc, quit game and start up again. After reading other posts this happens when connected via Oculus Link cable and also on other HMD's.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game boots in NON-VR mode
What do you expect to see? Expect to boot the game in VR mode when you press Play in VR button!

Having to delete the .ini files to get it to boot in VR makes all settings revert to default of course.
