Question:
Is it just me or is anyone else having to run the AI level much lower than the previous games ?
On last year's game I was running the game on 90% difficulty and now I m struggling on 70% and it makes Zero sense.
The Wet Weather AI seems even worse
Finally have enough wet/ dry races on 1.10 to really comment.
In the wet the AI needs to drop about 5 to keep a similar pace to dry, this is based on full assists except steering and changing brake and differential in the wet. 3 races, and compared to pace to leader, car infront and behind. 50% race distance.
When I first played under 1.07 the AI seemed balanced everywhere, now it is off qualifying to race at some tracks, needs to lowered at street courses and Hungary and is off in the wet.
If your finding Ai inconsistent from track to track I think the reason is likely down to Tyre temps. As most are aware Ai are not effected by carcass temps. Not sure about surface temps as they are not shown in game. Nevertheless if you race with temps set to carcass and surface. Tracks where carcass temps are a issue will severely handicap the player.
It’s not ideal and shouldn’t be the solution. But turning tyre temps from carcass and surface to surface only will put you on a level playing field with ai. Since I’ve been doing this has made me more consistent against AI across all tracks except track I know I’m not strong on
