I did, after a few laps in Miami, set up my f1 life. Unlocked the cars, placed them. Done and done. Zero chance of spending coin there. Drove the super cars a few times...not much fun to me and won't be doing it again unless I'm death bed bored.

The ONLY thing I did in F1 Life was, when I first booted up the game, I selected the darkest walls/floors/furniture from the starting choices to make it as unobtrusive as possible when navigating the main menu. Haven't touched F1 Life since. I'm not even displaying any of the supercars. I don't know whether they track that sort of metric, but if they do, I want to be a part of the "people who couldn't care less about this feature" statistic.

No, I didn't buy any additional stuff in F1 Life. It is totally useless for me. I might play around with the stuff gotten from Podium Pass, but that's it. When you create more Character suits for different liveries you don't see them, you only have the casual Outfit, which is nowhere Else used. That does not only make the Feature useless, it makes it really annoying. I use a mod with a mclaren 1988 pic on the wall, that makes somehow sense. If there will be a mod removing that and bring back classic Menu, that's a no brainer then.
For the Super cars, well, I only played one of each Mode for the Steam badge. Else I ignore it. I don't even put the cars into the F1 life screen because the spawned posers annoy me. That's a shame, the safety car placed there would somehow make the scene somehow related to F1. I also ignore the Events in myteam Mode, waste of time... Drift King... Better in NFS then...
All in all two Features I totally ignore, at least as far as possible...
