Ghost Cars

I have just started a F1 World Championship is the Solo player area and I am hoping there is a fix.

i went through Free Practice, Qualifying and started the race, however, there are Ghost Cars going through my car and my car through them.

I cannot see braking points and it is very distracting and I believe not right as there is no defending your position. 

Is it possible to turn off the Ghost Cars.
