Grip and traction issues f1 22

Can you please fix the grip and traction in f1 22. Its just horrible after the last update. There is just no grip and a lot of under and oversteer.

  • Since the last update I lose the rear in fast corners completely randomly, as if the ground effect had been reduced.

    I feel like I'm playing F1 2021 and that's not a compliment.

  • I''m having all kinds of problems with it today.

Started new my team (mid level using RB engine).

Using full race and immerse formation laps

Bahrain - lots of grip in practice and quali.  Zero in race.  Gearbox failed on lap 13.

Saudi (still weird tyre strategy bug) - lots of grip in practice and quali.  None in race. Car randomly spinning with feathered throttle.  Engine failed lap 7.

Australia - lots of grip in practice and quali.  None in race. First set of softs were horrendous but when I changed to another set they were much better (after initial lap to warm up).  Engine failed lap 48.

Type temps/pressures are fine in all races and same for when in practice/quali so it isn't that.  I've no idea how it can be so different between the modes.

The engine failures just add insult to injury.

@Greg_HFr Looks like your rear tires are overheating. Lower the rear tire pressures and that should stabilize things. In general you want your tire temps to no more than 100C. Just under that is best.

@Greg_HFr Not sure if you know but there was a change to how the tire pressure and temperatures behave. If you are using setups before 1.06 with high tire pressures you will definitely be struggling for rear grip. All my setups had to be adjusted accordingly. Best to just lower the pressures to the minimum and test. So were the temps are and then increase the pressure until you can keep the temps in the upper 90c range with the softs. Should be good to go then.

@Grace_TacticalTo confirm, are you on a PC or console?

It seems the pad vibration/FFB issue has been primarily for PC users.

The vibration/FFB problem is very much a issue on console as well.
