Hey guys, I just got the PS5 Apex wheel compatible with PC through XInput, the thing is that each paddle registers as also buttons “A” and “X” (based on standard Xbox default), I can’t figure out how to fix this so that I can set them apart. Main issue being my windows 10 HORI device manager app/software crashes as soon as it’s launched. The wheel itself is recognized and apparently the correct drivers were installed, according to my W10 system device manager. Anyone?
I have the exact same issue. Have you found any solution to it?
My HORI Apex wheel makes a clicking sound when I turn it to the left.
- @DaBoris1 I have this problem too. One of the problem's i believe is that because they do an xbox version, this perhaps caused confusion. Im having to use a controller when i want to get used to a wheel.... I have a PS5/PC wheel so i can play driving games on both
I have the same issue right now i'm trying to play the game with a Hori apex wheel and my deadzone steering it's set to 32. And i didn't change anything ... basically the wheel it's straight but the car goes into right side on the straights ...Why we encounter this issue ?
My Hori racing wheel overdrive was working fine until the new update. Now I am forced to select a wheel that is not my wheel type which makes the game unplayable.
Not only is the steering erratic at best, making me crash on a straight, but the button mapping is also inaccurate too.
When I switch modes on the wheel, the wheel input isn't recognised anymore either.

Make sure you have any available driver and firmware updates installed.
Reboot with it disconnected and reconnect when fully booted up and then retry, thanks.
