Hi @MPHGp
I can see how it could help and be useful to others but it annoys me and distracts me. I despise those dynamic racing racing lines both the 2d and 3d. I can turn them off but this I cant. It would be nice to have an option to either use it or switch it off, at least that would help out both camps. I dont like when a game forces something on me.
What is its purpose anyways? What does the colours represent? All I know is that it distracts me and annoys my head. No fault or offence intended to whoever programmed it, others might find it useful but its not for me.

You can turn it off. Go into settings, on screen display and its called always display objectives panel. I think thats the one…
- Hello @ajobling1983
When I went to my OSD it was set to off alreadys. I never had it on. But thanks for trying to help. To be honest its not too much of a problem for me, It only happened twice out of 24 practise sessions. I can live with it. - ajobling19834 years agoRising Ace
I’ll try and find the setting when i playing next. I turned it off as soon as it happened. It’s impossible to drive with it.
- @ALittleTiger7 I actually don’t understand it. For example, I was purple out of corner exit, then it turned red, then green. It seems random in a section where I was flat out and there wasn’t much more I could do.

It happened to me in Spain. Turn 1 was purple on entrance, through it and exiting. It then went green, red or something. When I first saw it I thought some spiked my fizzy pop and I was hallucinating.
But whatever its true meaning is has me baffled. - Jpk1234564 years agoRising Traveler
@ALittleTiger7Turn off in career mode the Heat Map Display on the screen ON-SCREEN DISPLAY. its the last option on the list.
For me it does the trick. - ajobling19834 years agoRising Ace@Jpk123456 Yes thats the one i was thinking of, thanks
I checked my options but it was set off. Thanks for trying to help. I only got it twice in 8 or so races.
I think it happens when you fail a programme and its there to help. It might have something to with the stay within 2 metres of the racing line test. Its not a big issue as such.
But now that we've talked about it, I'm curious to know why its purple here, green there and red here? How does it help? How do you understand it?
