The main backup option is PS+, which I deliberately do manually rather than having is set to happen automatically. The risk with automatic is that your main game data could get corrupted but this then syncs to the cloud before you realise there is a problem and then you have not useful backup. Obviously the manual approach only works if you remember to do it periodically.
I just had a quick Google to check anything hadn't changed to give another option, and actually it looks like it has:
Alternatively you can back your game data to an USB stick following a similar procedure as the one mentioned by Ultra.
A workaround that is easily doable on the ps5 would be to either screenshot or record short clips of you going around your settings and then upload them somewhere.
Obviously not very practical as you cannot import it again later, but it is still a log of your settings somehow 🤷♂️

I doubt of the back up of the game or screenshots, because when you update the game, i am affraid the back up the bug with the connection fail? What do you think
Or just delete the game, reinstall and then with screenshots make it personal.

If you back it up to a pendrive, a future bug can't reach those files.- 3 years ago
You know the bug at the moment with the connection to service.. error code playfab etc.
If i make a backup of the game, would that bug come with the back up, or is it better to unstall the game and install it 100% new. I only back it up because of the personal settings and setups, but for that i can make clips
