I keep getting put into empty lobbies and disconnected from lobbies after a race

I don't know why this is still an issue, I've had the same problem since F1 2020. Any time I try to connect to a lobby, it says it's searching for one and throws me into an empty one. Is there nobody...

They fixed it half way through last year's game. I thought they would have fixed it by now. I don't they really care about fixing it. There's been plenty of people reporting the issue, but nothing has been done about it.
