One of the reasons could be that they were CM products and EA decided their end of life now.
Another reason might be that you'd realise old games are better than new ones so you'll play those instead of new releases 😉
And as @Antic3 wrote, some games do not support new HW. I tried to play older games (e.g. F1 2011) on Steam with T150 wheel and it was a bit struggle to set everything up. And some games still crash quite often due to HW/SW problems.
To make them available, they would probably need to spend some dev resources to port them onto new HW (PC or consoles) properly which takes resources away from development of current and new game releases.
