In which timeframe can we expect crossplay introduction?

The decision to split the two communities is absolutely shambolic.

I don't run a league but we do have a community of F1 players that're now unable to play with each other due to a monumental screw up. We need some sort of timeline, even if it's within 6 months as suggested. As long as we have some sort of time we can go off, we can work around it the best we can but keeping us in the dark is only going to cause fustration for many.
