Dear EA,
I have been actively playing the F1 games for 12 years and I am more than disappointed with the decision to release a split between Origin and Steam.
I feel excluded and sad as an Origin user since 90% of my friends have the game on Steam.
As a loyal customer of EA and Codemasters for years I'm hurt by this a lot.
I'd like to ask you to give us an estimation when crossplay between Origin/Steam will be released so I can finally experience the game with my friends and the online community.

If I’m correct there will be a beta period first (for all device). So rough estimation… October.

the team that was tasked with doing the crossplay was based in the Ukraine which as you can appreciate has resulted in massive disruption. The late Acquisition of Codemasters in the development cycle probably has not helped as well as far as timings go. I am not aware of any more news beyond where the team was based.
With all love and sympathy for the Ukrainians. But on 20.2. the war started.
So there was at least a few months to change something. At least there was
enough time to inform the customers. Every country and every company has
problems as a result of the war and is trying to get them under control.
