In which timeframe can we expect crossplay introduction?

We really need to know what the planned timeline for is.

I find it ridiculous in 2022, that there are two incompatible versions of the same game on pc platform.

And the worst thing was, not telling the potential customers that an origin customer cannot play with a steam customer.

There have been several questions regarding multiplayer in this forum. Not one of them has been answered.
