Pre ordering a game these days before at least the review embargo is lifted is nonsensical to begin with, but even if I were to base my decision to stick with such a purchase on the pre-release period being smooth I'd still hold to it. That screenshot is as generic as it can be.
If you want a proper discussion to spark on the hypothetical sorry state of the current preview build, we're going to need more that that, pal.
Again, not saying you're lying. But there's nothing tangible here, really. - ScarDuck144 years agoLegend
Omg I’ve just preordered. Now I need to cancel? Oh hang about. I did research and using past experience I know what to expect and I’ve got big boy pants.

If like last year most bugs will be contained to pc and Xbox. And as I had 2021 from day one without any game breaking bugs I expect PS5 to once again have limited issues
I haven't pre-ordered the game as I think it's a general practice that is only bad for consumers as it acts as a disincentive for games companies to only release games when they're truly ready, as I'd argue F1 2021 demonstrated. That said, at least the last image shared showed someone from EA/Codemasters involved in the discussion so it's good to see that the eSports drivers are beta-testing the game for the rest of us 🙂.
- DukeOfAntwerp4 years agoSeasoned Hotshot@JanKondler Everyone pre ordering the F1 game and expecting a finished product at launch must be new to the F1 series. The game is released yearly. This game needs to be rushed out every year to reach that set in stone release date.
Some people really need to come to grip with the fact that they can't expect this game to release this early in F1 the season and be bug free. If the game would release in 2023 people would complain it's way too late.
I pre ordered the game expecting a bug fest at start, so reading that esports players are detecting bugs doesn't really convince me I need to cancel my pre order. - @DukeOfAntwerp Not only that, but the day one patch will most likely fix most of the bugs that the esport drivers are experiencing. There will always be bugs though of course

Nothing like day one patch exists, they have it in game now.
