While I agree that players should be able to play as or with a woman if they want, I do want to say that I would not want these women to enter my career saves in any way. Just like I don't want icons in my career. I just want to play with drivers who actually are driving in F1 or F2. Just a realism thing, nothing more or less. Would love to see a woman in F2 and eventually F1. I even had Tatiana Calderon as my teammate in a previous game. But as she's no longer in F2, I'm fine with her being out of the game now.
It could be like an extra options when starting a career. You can choose to use icons or not.
From my own perspective I don't see any need for more women in the game. If they are not there in real life, I don't want them in my game (emphasis on 'my' game. Have no problem if others can use them in their game).
What I do find annoying is that male drivers get referred to as 'they'. Nobody talks about Max Verstappen as 'they'. It's a 'he'. It would be good if players have the option to be a male/female/gender neutral driver, but don't use pronounces for drivers that nobody uses in real life. It's weird.
