Someone had already asked this question, but that was over a month ago so that id ask again to see if anyone got any new news.

Most games support the G923 and the previous ubiquitous G29/G920 pair. But the former's Trueforce feature isn't always enabled by the devs, it's on a game by game basis. I know its supports g923 as a wheel, but the TRUEFORCE force feedback is only compatible with certain games, for instance dirt rally 2.0 "has TRUEFORCE" support, but games like F1 2021 and some forza games dont have "TRUEFORCE" force feedback support, and the difference between normal force feedback and "TRUEFORCE" is night and day.
- @mariohomoh yeah exactly, and i am hoping F1 2022 will support Trueforce, but i figured id come on here and ask if anyone knew.

This is the kind of update people would appreciate when deciding whether to pre-order. I have a feeling that waiting for a post release discount will not be as easy a wait as it might have been from a purely CM release.
Waiting for a patch or support could be the kind of circus we've come to expect over the past few years.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
Creators don't tell you anything about this in their videos and most are using Fanatec gear anyway.

I agree. I think it's totally unacceptable to expect people to preorder without this information being published. Yes we all fully expect wheels supported in the current game to still work but customers shouldn't have to make assumptions or potentially take risks on this not being the case.

Here is a recent article about F1 22 on the PlayStation's blog regarding one of the DualSense features..
"Through utilizing the PS5 DualSense controller’s haptics, the feeling of both collisions and surfaces has been greatly enhanced. It gives the ability to communicate individual chunks of surface debris and creates a far more immersive experience to represent the car on a particular part of the track. Most notably, the sensation can be localized to the left or right. A great example of this is when just the left wheels of the player’s car are driven aggressively over a kerb, the feedback is felt exclusively through the left side of the controller, adding to the realism. "
I know it's easier said than done, and TrueForce isn't the exact same tech as the DualSense's haptics....but you would hope they can convert some of that feedback data for the Logitech g923's TrueForce feature. This was my main reason to upgrade to the g923, from my g29. Figured TrueForce would be supported more often, because of the DualSense.
So hopefully it finally does get added for this year's game, or it can be patched in.
