@SomaticCoast375 Referring to AI? Multiplayer? Of course you can overtake, again the dirty air is a third of real life dirty air in length and intensity.. You cant compare the overtaking difficulty between game and life.

@Meza994 I’m talking about multiplayer. The game is suppose to be realistic which it isn’t
- Meza9944 years agoSeasoned Ace@SomaticCoast375 The game is meant to be fun. If it was 100% realistic in multiplayer with equal cars you wouldnt be able to overtake at all in most cases due to the dirty air keeping you from getting within even 2 seconds. Im sorry you dont like the approach of Codemasters but its the best for the majority of players

@Meza994irl they can follow closely within a second. They just find it harder to overtake which would make game much better and still fun
The majority of multiplayer players would find making it more realistic much better. Career mode players I can see find the current approach better- Meza9944 years agoSeasoned Ace@SomaticCoast375 They only follow closely when they are much quicker.. Hamilton himself said last year for Brazil you need to be over 1s faster to overtake. They mean by that to get close enough for DRS and slipstream to have a big effect, most couldnt even stay close when only 0.1-0.3 faster.
I think its exactly the opposite, multiplayer guys want to race each other, which is not happening a lot if you go for realistic dirty air.
Anyway we wont find consens here, dirty air is the same in F1 22 as in 2021 from what i heard and DRS will be like it is IRL (like it was in 2021) and everything else i up to Codemasters
