Marcel fischer Interesting

watching this guy's videos could help the codemaster team to use the laser scanner for the mexico tracks the last video posted looks even narrower for these cars as well as having some absurd cuts. let's hope they are seen

  • @Nellix82 Yep. Watching real f1 car going 160 kph through turn 9 while we going almost flat out and have apex speed 260 270 kph is absolutely mad.
  • Codemasters got every track layout spot on, but it lacks a update. So yeah, Mexico is spot on with layout and that, but even if Codemasters change it some players or even esport driver will complain about it.

@Dimitrije1Minic Sorry but i have to strongly disagree here, they have the raw direction right yes but certain corners are horribly wrong, be it camber like at Bus Stop in Spa or the actual sharpness of a corner or even the height of kerbs (like in Jeddah) which makes a big difference in how you can take a corner..

@Meza994 exactly some curves are just rounder also narrowing the track ...... as also said blackbird also the speed that is reached is wrong that's another matter. Looks like the tracks haven't been updated for these cars.

@Nellix82Well its simply about getting the physics, tyre/suspension work at the given corner, the kerbs/camber and the angles of corners right..

It doesnt matter what car takes those corners, if the things named above are right a car no matter the era will take the corner at the appropriate speed. For Mexico its a lot the angle and physics, in the game we get a lot more downforce than they have IRL which obviously makes a lot of the speed at 260, then the corner looks a lot sharper in onboards or like it extends much more into the track making the following corner much tighter which requires you to take turn 10 properly slow, also it looks a little bit like the corner has a little camber to the outside irl making it even slower - thats not in the game - and in esses the tyres are often not at their optimum temperature near the end so thats probably another tiny bit of grip less, then different kerbs, strict track limits etc., theres a lot going on changing speed of a corner

What im trying to say is a track thats done properly - laserscanned with the right physics etc. - doesnt need an update for certain cars, but getting that track to that point is a lot of work

@Meza994 a job that someone has to do..... I'm always of the opinion that it's better to take an extra year but play a game properly by investing like the motogp guys did and deliver the same game for 10 years consequently on the 22nd the most disappointing.
