Maxed Car Setup Suggestions
Hi guys, in this post, I would like to ask you if you got good setups for maxed out Career Mode cars. I had a similar thing happening in F1 2020, where a maxed out Career Mode car didn't feel great...

@LuckyNico92Never playing career mode as far because i dont like maxed out cars or how the overall development of that mode is, but unless your brakes are getting to 1400° they are still braking acceptable.. Like even at 1250° you can get about very similar laptimes as with perfect temps, just need to brake a little bit earlier.. Its not costing you seconds its costing you tenths at most, just set your braking point a tiny bit earlier
In regards of the overall setup there is likely no general setup because the maxed out cars are very specific with its characteristics and every player will have different problems - requires different setups
Ok I’m going off just what @Meza994 said. As it’s quicker.
Nico you use a Pad? When pressing either trigger. You get use of 80% off travel. And last 20% is dead. When you’re flying Down a straight at 220MPH and fast approaching a 2nd gear hairpin. As you pass the 150. Hit your brakes hard for a micro . Then come off then press brake no more than halfway: and do it faster than light speed. Takes getting used to. But ABS or not. Never Applyi100% brake pressure

So you'd have to come up with tips that fix his handling of a maxed out car while not having anything to do with progressive application of braking.- @mariohomoh It’s not as though he has to learn trail bracking. Jumping on your brakes be it in a game in a real F1 car or when you’re out on a public road: Only time you ever stand on your brakes. Is when your face on to a immovable wall off death and carnage is certain and it’s the last thing left:
Ok these days with cars having SC and TC. And ABS. Plus most being front or all wheel drive Standing on the brake pedal is a lot more forgiving.
But I didn’t have any driver aids when I was taught. Plus all rear wheel drive: When the car was at speed and it got twitchy. You only hit the brakes when spinny spin spin was in full effect.
I’ve been drinking lots.
Anyway I tested it many times. Even if I’ve got ABS on I still try not to use more than 50% off the brake after my initial hard tiny tap
