Miami, yes or no?

Who is excited for the new Miami track? Personally I’m not but I’m heard some drivers have said it’s going to be a very exciting race based on sim data

  • @Cpayne32 Not really excited but i am curious to see how the Race will be. If it offers an exciting race then it will be a plus for F1. It looks ok at first sight compared to Las Vegas which is almost only straight line 🙂 Tho i would like to see some other old and historical tracks in F1 calendar and is a must to keep others like Monaco despite seeing new tracks .I hope teams will bring enough updates to have more equal cars on the grid so we can have some nice race (or races in the future).

I'm certainly looking forward to qualifying after yesterday's practice make it look like it may be a 3-way fight at the front 🙂.

Yep, it looks like this! I wonder if Mercedes is currently helped by the track which hasn't got high speed corners or if they improved so much in general and/or if Ferrari & Red Bull have something left in their pocket (BTW Verstappen may be ahead and we still don't know).

Ferrari in P1 was too much slow in the straights, -13 km/h from RB, -4 km/h from Mercedes, I heard that they have a new rear wing (to improve max speed) but at least in P1 they haven't tried it, I don't even think in P2, which is strange and in my opinion an own goal in view of the race.

    Let's wait and see 😉

I can't say that was the most thrilling race. It was only really livened up with the late safety-car.

Anything goes as long as the race is interesting. I don't know if I can survive another Emilia-Romagna GP 😅

The first time in a while I felt bored during the race. F1 didn't offer me too much excitement that day, compared to Super Formula, which had a battle for the lead on the final laps and wet weather driving without crashes

Also an overtake that is quite similar to one we saw in F1 ages ago 😉

Compared to Imola, that was a snoozefest. SC generates fake action at Miami. Could miss it, wouldn't feel like missing out.....

Yeah it's been a couple of more bland races in a row now, huh.

...Ah it's Spain next... and then Monaco...

Well hopefully Azerbaijan GP (June 12th) will give us some excitement 😁

  • It's just another one of those Street Tracks with No Personality and that part in Sector 2 looks like they were running out of Scaltrixs pieces and did it in a rush.

Think it's never gonna be one of the races I actually go back to time and time again or press the Skip button when it comes up on an online lobby along with Baku , and Saudi - even France has more personality and I seem to need a map every other lap there.
