I get what you're saying. I remember the days where games were played for fun. Once everything went online, people could hide behind the anonymity of the internet. Combine that with gaming being hypercompetitive and people having a lack of accountability for how they play, it's not quite the fun, leisure activity we used to have. I love a good, competitive gameplay, but people far too often take out their frustrations on others in game and foster that toxic environment. Unfortunate for sure.
@EA_Aljo Think it all stems from social media(Facebook) I used to play rainbow six vegas, bad company 2(ranked top 2000ish) and cod4 online and I guess as online was all pretty new everyone behaved for the most part. Obviously it got abit loud esp between clans but all good fun banter for the most part. Never abusive and if someone did they would instantly told to shut up by everyone. Rainbow six vegas was where tea bagging was invented and widely implemented 😂😁

I definitely understand some friendly trash talk and such, but people take it way too far nowadays. It's pretty sad for sure. I've been gaming online for longer than I'd like to admit and things have really changed over the last 10+ years. The games are pretty amazing, but the behavior of their players has gotten out of control.

@EA_Aljo @I’ve been gaming since Atari days and my first home computer had a massive 16k memory 😁 Internet? Internet? Back then only one house in the street even had a land line that everyone in the street would pop round and use. Phone owners loved lording it over us poor peasants who could only dream off possessing such a marvel off modern technology 😁

We're apparently from the same time. My first gaming system was an Atari 2600 and first computer was an Atari 800. Things are wildly different now. Back then I could have never imagined that we'd be playing the games we do today.

@EA_Aljo What I can’t wrap my head around are posts from people complaining about
the trees far off in the distance are the wrong shade off green or the clouds look to fluffy.
Real Racing sims like pole position back in the day had one shade green on each side off a grey line that represented a track and something on said Greg line was if you really squinted your eyes and used tons off imagination. Was a awesome looking F1 car😁
I get complaints when gameplay is effected. But seeing furious posts over fauna tickles me
