My Team Mirrors

When I sit in my cockpit, I find that if I want to use my side mirrors I need to set the field of view in such a way that I cannot read my steering wheel and get the fisheye view feel. I get other use the location arrows and virtual rearview mirror, but I prefer more realism.

While some of the other cars have a similar problem because they are based on real life, others do not and surely our fictitious My Team car could have better mirror placement.

  • I’ve noticed this.. only solution is use the virtual  rear view.  And decrease fov so you can’t see the mirrors at all.   Out off sight out of mind.

  • @AEF251 Unfortunately I think this is just a limitation between creating realistic placement of the mirrors and screen dimensions.

The only way to keep the car proportions correct and FOV realistic AND still see the mirrors is a widescreen monitor, multiple monitors, or VR.

I’d agree if it all cockpits were like this, but there are quite a few were the mirrors are closer in and therefore more useable with a lower fov.
