Morning Racers! Hope everyone is settling well into EA Answers HQ, have seen some familiar usernames in the chats. I’d like to take this time to introduce you to @EA_Kent , who will be taking over most of the F1 Community Manager duties from myself after the launch of F1 22 alongside other members of the EA Answers HQ team. @EA_Kent brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise across a host of EA games and has over 3500 solutions offered on EA Answers HQ. He will also be receiving a full induction on the F1 project by me, so he will be fully up to speed on launch. He will also be joined by our Codemasters moderator icon and my Forum Championship team-mate (mostly so we avoid driving into each other every week – those who know know :P) @up100 who will continue to provide his excellent support and help across EA Answers HQ. For those who are interested, I am remaining with EA/F1 in a ‘Player First’ role within the developer team, so you can cancel the 'Barry's finally gone' parties you were arranging. I’ll still be occasionally visiting the forums, as well as other channels, and may well see you on track! I’d just like to say a short thank you to everyone I’ve raced with, talked to, laughed with, and worked alongside to make the games the best they can be. It's a genuine pleasure and a lot of fun. Hi everyone, We're thrilled to have you here with us on Answers HQ! I know that many of you are coming over from the Codemasters forums, and it's cool to see a passionate, tight-knit community like this around the F1 series. I'll share some background on myself while I've got the opportunity. I've been working at EA since 2015, originally on the social media side with Twitter and Facebook. I came over to Answers HQ in 2019 to have a chance to talk to our communities more directly. Like BarryBL mentioned, I do also help out with other boards including Apex Legends, GRID, FIFA Mobile, and some others. I'm really excited to get to know everyone and for the future of the F1 community here on AHQ. You'll see some other EA faces helping out on these boards, so feel free to say hi and reach out to us if you need a hand. See you around the track!

Yeah, so far next-gen consoles have both had patches in the past 5 days, absolutely nothing on PC, and the game is just stricken with issues, no patch notes from codies either for any updates, the lack of transparency is worrying to say the least.

@mariohomoh not a corporate BRZ, but a personal one. May as well enter my midi-life crisis in style :P To answer your question, it's not 100% set it stone, but it will be a 'Player First developer' sort of role, where I take wider community thoughts, feedback and ideas and discuss these with the developer team to get the best F1 game we can to you. Seems a natural progression, and something I'm exciting to get involved with. Means that I won't be too far from the forums :P

He is still around 🙂 PJ's responsibilities often lie outside of F1 (he was originally brought in to do DiRT Rally 2.0 for example), so seeing him on F1 22 forums may be more uncommon than on other platforms Correct. I a more of a behind-the-scenes person on F1, working on screenshots and the occasional video that you all get hyped about. Rally's my baby and that's where I'll be visible most (I run the EA SPORTS Rally channels), however community management isn't my focus right now.

PS4 has not had a patch and is currently struggling with severe game crashes/freezes... Go over to Bug Reports: F1 22 crashing freezing on PS4 - note that 142 people have reported this problem.

Hey everyone,

Apologies for getting back to you so late here. As I'm sure you can imagine we've been very busy with the launch, and I haven't had much of a chance to stop and catch my breath!

We just released patch 1.05 for F1 22. It's already live on PlayStation and PC and will be available on Xbox soon. If you haven't had the chance to look through the patch notes you can check them out over at the F1 22 Updates section on Answers HQ, or on the F1 22 website.

We've also got a discussion thread going for the patch, so if you have any thoughts you want to share please feel free to let us know.

I and the rest of the team who have been helping out with these boards are doing our best to pass along the issues you've been reporting to us here on Answers HQ as well. We may not be able to post a reply in every case, but the reports and feedback you've been giving us since launch have not gone unnoticed.

We truly appreciate the feedback and conversations that we've been seeing here on Answers HQ. Please keep it coming.

I would love to know if we can get more Featured, Weekly or Esports Events for F1 2022 . So we still
cant get abit more of a chance to unlock the Weekly Warrior achievement and trophies for Xbox and PlayStation. I would love to see some more events up so we can get another chance to fully complete the game .

just a shame they seem to of stopped when F1 23 was released .

i would love the chance to be able to fully complete it as F1 22 was my next game I was planning to jump into just may not now with there being no more events
