Started a new save recently and have this exact problem. Tried starting another one where I did few things different like actually finishing the first practice session that you can’t quick sim. Unfortunately though nothing I’ve tried seems to fix the problem.

@DinaatioOriginally quick practice was over wearing ICE, Gearbox. So I’m assuming they couldn’t find a way to fix it🤷‍♂️. So disabling it was lesser off two evils maybe… So quick practice no longer effects wear.

but if they dont fix this you dont have to use points to R&D durability parts so my team mode and driver career will be little bit stupid.

  @icedriver0000 You still suffer from wear when your actually out on track. Qualifying and Race. And if your don’t R&D durability parts: more likely they are to fail during a race. If you have mechanical failures enabled

  @icedriver0000now new bug in my team mode happened leclerc doing donuts after mexico gp celebration hes championship win well its abu dhabi gp and verstappen its 24 points behind :D :D the game didnt recognize brazil sprint :D i think

@ScarDuck14 I don’t think they did this on purpose. It wouldn’t make any sense for them to just disable wear when it has been working as intented before.

  @Dinaatio It’s the easiest solution for them to take. Rather than having to re-work and re-calculate the wear values. It’s quicker, easier and cheaper just to turn it off.😔
