No floor- and paint damage on ai cars

Product: F1 22
Platform:PlayStation 5
Summarize your bug In collisions with the ai (or ai vs ai) the ai never has any floor damage or paint damage on the car. This is in contrast to the driver's car, which can have floor damage some times, and have a negative impact on the car handling. Even with damage on "simulation" ai never has any floor damage...
What is your 16 digit Report Code? XPAK-CDCE-SDRJ-BASC
Which area is the bug/glitch in? My Team
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Did you have cross-play enabled? No
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Crash into the ai car multiple times and see that they have no floor damage or visual paint damage on the car, unlike the player car. In images below, I intentionally caused a crash. Compare the floor damage on my car (Mercedes) with the ai car from and Tsunoda...His bodywork and floor are totaly fine. That not how it should be after that impact
What happens when the bug occurs? No paint and floor damage on ai cars. Never.
What do you expect to see? A good working damage model both for player and ai.

No floor- and paint damage on ai cars.

  • @Bas_Sie89 Like last year they turned it off shortly after game was released. Don’t know why🤷‍♂️ So now only the players car shows signs off battle.

@ScarDuck14 That's a weird choice from EA. Perhaps AI cars do have floor damage, but is it only a visual thing we cannot see. I have no idea.

@Bas_Sie89 Think due to how easy it is to bottom out the cars this year. Floor damage effects may have been the reason it was quite common 5+ AI cars would crash out every race.

Turning off or down damage is a lot easier than adjusting ai setups and or behaviour 🙄
