No Force Feedback on TMX

Since I’ve updated to the latest patch of F1 22 on Xbox Series S, I’ve had no force feedback whatsoever on my TMX. I’ve tried updating the Thrustmaster firmware, restarting both the wheel and the Xbox multiple times, and reconfiguring my entire control bind. I’m out of ideas and it is clear to see this is an F1 problem as FFB on other games such as Assetto Corsa and Project Cars works perfectly. Anyone got solutions for this?

  • Are you certain you have no force feedback rather than it being weaker? I have a suspicion it may actually be the latter. Try adjusting the in game FFB settings to check, which may turn out to be at least a partial solution.

Others have experienced a loss of FFB strength by the way.

Yeah I’m 100% certain, I’ve fiddled with all FFB settings including max strength and absolutely nothing changes it. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the game and that’s not changed anything either.

@westonz1 Have you cleared your cache as this can fix a lot of problems on xbox.
You need to unplug your box from the back then depress the xbox button at least 5 times to deenergize the system.
I myself wait 5 minutes before hooking everything back up just to be sure.

This might help but no promises.

I have the exact same problem, no force feedback at all and I'm going to miss or have 0 pace at 4 different league races. I'm on TMX but my friend on a Logitech has the same issue, really hope this gets fixed asap.

Exactly, I have 0 pace and I’m not enjoying playing the game like this…

Are we talking zero FFB in the sense of the wheel being totally light all the time here?

Either way it's probably worth properly reporting this with full details in the bugs section. I'm a little surprised if this has cropped up very recently rather than immediately at the point of the 1.11 update though.

Yeah I’m talking like 0 feeling, completely light wheel. It may’ve started at 1.11 but on my end it was fine on the night of Tuesday the 27th but on the evening of the 28th everything was gone.
