@FG44141 Nice catch, this has to be fixed for release. It's one of the most important gameplay feature, being able to tell if you are faster or slower lap after lap is essential.

Forced cockpit cam
No driver tags above cars
No hud showing you the pecking order
It makes no sense to disable it when its shown in cockpit cam anyway, if you dont like it shown in T-Cam disable it - an option to disable it is best. A game is meant to please as many as possible so having the option to make the game as flexible as possible to the players liking is best.- @Meza994 I like the feature but if it ain’t realistic then you can’t blame them for taking it away

Drivers have deltas on their steering wheels so when a cockpit view isn't being used it makes sense for this to be on the HUD. Unless you're arguing that the game should only have cockpit view I suppose, which obviously won't happen.
- @SomaticCoast375 Exactly what Meza said, but also if the reasoning was that they want to make it more like real life, then they should disable the whole HUD by default.
This is most likely a feature they forgot to add to the new UI
