@SomaticCoast375 Well you kinda can. Its a game, MyTeam isnt realistic yet if they took it away they would get a lot of hate from the players..
IF they were going for "only realism" then okay i could understand it but then there should be nothing thats unlike reallife. So no tags above drivers, forced halo middle rod, no fuel information on the wheel display, forced cockpit cam etc.. Games have a lot of stuff in them that are there to make the players life easier, convenient things and as long as they dont plan to get rid of all of them it would be a bad and unreasonable move to get rid of some

@Meza994 Sports game are suppose to mirror real life. If you want a lot of unrealistic stuff then play games like rocket league.
Some of the unrealistic stuff in the game is nice and makes the game easier but if Codemasters want to make it more realistic I’m not going to be complaining about it

@SomaticCoast375Yeah no point arguing with you again.. When you say its supposed to mirror real life its also saying they should get rid of all and any assists in the game and in the end its meant as a simcade, a game thats meant to be playable by everyone hence stuff thats not like reallife.. But whatever, you are entitled to have your own opinion.

Assists are added features, which are there to help new or even weaker players like yourself it seems, to play the game. The game having assists doesn’t mean people without assists aren’t close to realism.- @SomaticCoast375 Even without Assists i beat AI on 100-101 btw lol
You are just not getting my point sorry.. The laptime delta seen somewhere else than steering wheel is nothing else than an assist, just like the current laptime and the drivers around you (leaderboard). People who want to be as close to real life as possible can obviously play without them but having them in the game is more than justified. Comparing that to rocket league is completely missing the point and comparing apples to pears😂
